I’m sure you’ve heard. Solange Knowles is the Creative Director for Puma’s new Girls of Blaze disc collection. She handpicked designers to collaborate designs that were inspired by the sights and sounds of Brazil. Shoes will be unveiled February 8, 2014, but here’s a look at photos shot for the lookbook by Alan Ferguson. The photos are so delicious that I almost forgot about the shoes. Those colors… These girls… Yes!!!

Okay, back to the shoes. Here’s a closeup. They’re eclectic. They’re fun. They’re Solange.

Black & White – It Always Seems Right

Posted on January 10th, 2014

I have spent countless hours looking into logo designs for my upcoming magazine. It seems to be one of the hardest parts of the entire process. But I refuse to get discouraged! And how can I be now that I’ve come across these fresh logos? Why do I love them so much?! I’m willing to bet it has to do with my obsession with black and white photography. I know I’m dating myself, but I studied photography when we used film and spent hours in the dark room with the smell of chemicals and a red light. Ah, the good ol’ days. Okay, I’m back. Check out these logos. There’s something about them, don’t you think?
